I chose a mascara because I use it pretty much everyday. I am surprise by what long terms effects that links to it. I never put any thought into the cosmetic products I use. I guess I have to now. What scares me the most is that using mascara links to cancer. I wonder how that takes place?
I hope I am going put more thoughts when buying anyy cosmectis. Maybe even search a specific for more info before buying it.

Hey Valerie! I basically said the same thing as you in my reaction. I also have never really thought about the effects of my cosmetics on me and the environment. It is really scary that something that goes on your eye lashes can cause cancer. My mascara is also tested on animals, so I found that really upsetting too. Great post!
ReplyDeleteJust like Sara H's post I can't say I use this type of product but it doesn't sound like eye lash mascara or fortifier is to harmful of a product. Nice post Valerie!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the effects that some products have either. I guess I always kind of assumed that companies couldn't sell stuff that could cause cancer, obviously I was very worng! It is really scary to think about. Good post Valerie!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Valerie. I too found it wierd that these products can cause so much damage to the human body, and they are all around us, used by all, everyday!!! Its crazy! My product scored similar to yours, so I fell it was disturbing as well.
